The ultimate Jewish Jam band rocks the house at the Lyceum Space on June 18 at 7:30 p.m. Soulfarm's live shows are full of Mediterranean flavor with captivating guitar leads, dance rhythms and strong percussion breaks.   "Infographics is Storytelling - The Intersection of Art & Geospatial Design" A picture is worth a thousand words - especially in the news world. We use GIS mapping to better understand spatial geography. Data visualization is another tool that helps us to literally "see" complex issues in space and time. This month we are thrilled to have the SDUT Graphics team join us to share their work.   The San Diego Center for Children’s 126th Anniversary Dinner will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the US Grant Hotel in Downtown San Diego. This event begins at 5:30 p.m. The Center, founded in 1887, is San Diego’s oldest accredited non-profit organization offering comprehensive day and residential treatment programs for kids with behavioral, emotional, social and educational issues. This evening will have a reception and silent auction, followed by dinner and a live auction. Professional and personable auctioneer for the event is Steve Hamann. The Anniversary Dinner Committee Co-Chairs are Doreen Schonbrun, Anita Norton, Elizabeth Oliver and Marla Black. The theme for this grand event is “Imagine” and will feature emcee Barbara Lee Edwards of Channel 8 News. The San Diego Center for children is proud to have performances by the San Diego Center for Children’s Choir and the San Diego Children’s Choir. Special guest entertainer is Haute Chile.   The first evening of summer will be celebrated in style on June 21st at NTC Liberty Station in Point Loma with 60 wineries, chocolate and cheese makers as the Women's Museum of California hosts its annual WINE, CHEESE AND CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL. Up to 1000 guests will gather on the lawn area known as the North Promenade directly west of the new museum space in Barracks 16. The theme for the event is "Say Hello to Summer". This popular event is hosted by the Women's Museum of California as part of their community outreach and fundraising efforts. In addition to 12 food and wine tastings, each guest receives a Gift Bag with a retail value of $200 and a commemorative wine glass to take home, donated by Belmont Village Senior Living. at 6:00 pm
