You have misused the quote I gave you.

The quote “My concern is over where this is heading across the entire UC,” said Samer Naji, a senior and the vice president of external affairs for UCSD’s Associated Students, who voted to support the divestment resolution. “I only see it getting worse” does not refer to the ‘mistreatment’ of jewish students. Rather, it refers to the the rising tensions between Pro-Isreal and Pro-Palestine students.

In my opinion, jewish students are not mistreated on campus and they certainly are not under attack. Please do not misuse my quote to make it seem like that.

I would appreciate you remove my quote from this article.

My wife and I are some what new members to Emanu-El(less than a year) but it only took one time in meeeting with Rabbi Lawson to know he is the real thing. He is an excellent teacher a wonderful Rabbi, and an awesome person in general. He will be greatly missed, but Anita has shared him long enough….. it is “their” time now. Enjoy retirment Rabbi and we hope to go on an Israel tour with you in the future. XOXO

This Mengele thing, I have worked out what he was really up to. In 2002 I researched Monarch Programming and there was a footnote that Mengele was involved after the War. In fact I met him whilst doing my research but he was so short I didn’t believe my eyes, AND I checked and found out Mengele officially died in 1979, so I was right to forget it. Until 2011 when to fill in a gap that might explain me noticing more and more Monarch Programming, I found a late picture of the man. Thing is from conversations with Dr Phil Davies , a former employer head of research, it seems that Monarch Programming has become a resort not of the worst types but the best, it being used to protect Western powers, institutions and even colleagues from scandal or contradiction. Sorry to mention Mengele, but trauma was what he was doing….for brainwashing, litle more than that, and HE might have been brainwashed!

Fantastic article, Judith. I am Jewish, from London, UK and in 2008 had the fantastic and fascinating experience of teaching and living on Pentecost island, North Vanuatu for six months. People in my village were very warm, hospitable and combined their Christianity with kustom. They were amazed when I could show them photos of me in modern day Jerusalem and when I received mail postmarked Israel. Your article has drawn out the similarities between the joys of orthodox judaism and Kustom. I can’t wait to get back there – so glad you have discovered Vanuatu and have written about it for the Jewish Press. Never did I think I would see this day.
