The Meridian at Lake San Marcos is not open yet, but the newest luxury senior living facility in town has already presold about 60 percent of its rental properties. Featuring independent living, assisted living and memory care in elegantly appointed apartments with lavish amenities and services, The Meridian is “truly the lifestyle that seniors deserve,” says Vice President of Sales and Marketing Carl Knepler.
A unique community with views of the lake and mountains in the area, The Meridian will be comprised of approximately 250 apartment homes, with the largest two bedroom, two and a half-bath apartment topping out at 1800 square feet. One-bedroom and studio apartment options are also available, each equipped with quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a washer and dryer in each unit.
“The availability to move into a new community doesn’t happen very often,” Director of Marketing Judy Richman says of the community, which is owned and operated by Pacifica Senior Living. “The attention to detail [across the entire property] is amazing, with all of your activities right here. A spa, fitness center, library, game room, pool and outside dining [areas] are available here, so as much or as little as residents want to be involved they can be, all in a brand new community.”
A full-service hair salon and masseuse will be available on site, as well as a movie theater showing films two times a day. The entire community is also pet friendly. Utilities and basic cable, daily meals, weekly housekeeping and linen services, concierge and chauffeur services, 24-hour security, emergency response and secured underground parking are just a few more of the amenities to be offered to all residents at The Meridian.
Full time staff will be available to residents 24 hours a day, and in assisted living and memory care sites, caregivers and nurses will provide services individually tailored to each resident’s needs.
“Our memory care program is in a secured area with compassionate team members who provide quality care to our residents facing Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia,” Knepler says, “and our assisted living program is designed for those who need assistance with activities of daily living and to give them the support they need in a luxurious and enriching environment.”
The welcome center is open now, at 1030 La Bonita Drive in San Marcos, next door to the community. Models are open every day from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and the community is currently taking reservations.
