Art of Aging with Lenore Bohm

Join Rabbi Lenore Bohm as she leads a private tour and dinner discussion of the art exhibit created by the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion Museum. The Art of Aging is a fine arts exhibition that celebrates the positive aspects of maturity through the lens of Jewish values. The exhibit explores the ways in which aging is less than an inexorable process and more of a lifelong journey affecting the dynamics of human relationships, creativity, memory, continuity and growth.

Tour begins at 4:00 pm at the JCC, dinner is at 5:30 pm at Beth Israel.

Sample bites such as spicy pad thai, delicate sashimi, Italian antipasto, gourmet sliders, bespoke street tacos, and more. Your taste buds will go wild on this culinary journey throughout Hillcrest!

This gala is all about Cygnet! Join us for an elegant evening inspired by our past, present and future. Enjoy UP CLOSE cabaret-style entertainment by your favorite Cygnet Artists while you wine and dine and bid on enticing auction items. Help make Cygnet’s impact in the community FAR REACHING.
The party takes place at the beautiful open-air Garden of the Sea at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego.
Dress code is black tie optional. Guests are encouraged to don a “Cygneture Look” of red, black or white.

78th Stars & Stripes Gala

Come to this gala honoring entrepreneur & philanthropist Ernest Rady, as well as “Forest Gump” and “Of Mice and Men” actor Gary Sinise. San Diego USO “strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.” Tickets for active-duty service members cost $150.
