Join the brewmasters at Border X Brewing for a three-part series on engineering craft beer. In this first part we will learn the stages of combining water, hops, yeast, barley and grains. This workshop will set the stage for a special 52 Weeks of Science seasonal brew that we will make together.
This free all ages event draws over 100,000 people from across San Diego for three days of fun, music, delectable food, and of course – plenty of German beer! This year’s lineup is jam-packed with plenty of live music across two stages that are sure to get you inspired to bust out your best chicken dance.
Festival highlights include instrument design, story recording, soil play, cooking
workshops, local lulav making, live music, farm talks and tours, and more. Fresh, hand-
picked produce will be available at the Farm Stand, and local vendors will provide tasty
food and snacks.An ambrosia garden will offer local mead, beer, and kombucha (open
to ages 21 and up).

Ignite the Night is a social evening out for Nierman parents and their friends, an opportunity to create community and connection, while at the same time raising funds for a specific purpose in the preschool. This year, proceeds will benefit our preschool’s outdoor nature, sensory and STEM enhancements.
