The Karamu offers events and activities for people of all ages, including crafts and performances by the Martin Luther King Jr. Choir, the STEAM Academy Jazz Band and the Black Storytellers Association of San Diego. Community information booths will offer a variety of informational handouts, health screenings and other resources. This year, representatives from various local colleges will provide information on higher education. The library will have free opportunity drawings throughout the event. Parking is limited so plan accordingly.
