Kick-off Thanksgiving Day with the Del Mar Family Mile Fun Run on the famous Del Mar Racetrack. Begin from the actual starting gate, make a one-mile lap around the track and finish in the Winners’ Circle where you will get your picture taken. Several Del Mar jockeys will be running, jogging and walking right with you! The Fun Run starts at 8 a.m., and participants are encouraged to come in costume. Proceeds benefit Helen Woodward Animal Center and their equestrian therapy program for children and adults with special needs.
Early risers may enjoy morning workouts and breakfast in the Clubhouse Terrace Restaurant on Saturday, November 26, and every Saturday during the Bing Crosby Season. From 8 to 10 a.m., visitors will be able to view morning workouts, dine in the open-air restaurant and learn behind the scenes info from Jeff Bloom, former jockey and event announcer. Bloom keeps fans informed of notable workers on the track, answers questions and offers racing tips.
Join us for our tastiest two for one ever. We’re pairing our Food Truck Festival with our Craft Beer & Cider Fest. Sample from more than 30 gourmet food trucks and over 100 craft beers and ciders including special fall, winter and pumpkin brews. Cheers to that! There will be other special activities and DJ’s playing music throughout the day. The Beer Fest is held in the Seaside Concert area west of the Grandstand beginning at 12:00 p.m. There is no charge to enter the festival area and it’s open to all ages.

Join Hazon for a 25-mile community bike ride on Sunday January 15. Meet by the Trader Joe’s at Pacific Highlands Ranch Village shopping center in Carmel Valley for an intermediate-level ride that will go through Camino Del Sur and Fairbanks Ranch area.
