Father Joe’s Children’s Charity Gala: Pioneering the Future

The captivating event will feature dinner, dancing and a silent auction at the historic US Grant and raise money for Father Joe’s Villages’ therapeutic childcare programs for children ages 0 to 12.

Canadian American Active Retirees in Israel Presentation at Ohr Shalom

There is a comprehensive program through Jewish National Fund (JNF) called CAARI: Canadian American Active Retirees in Israel. This unique travel program is designed specifically for active retirees or semi-retirees (50 plus). CAARI is more than a touring program. Now in its 35th year, CAARI volunteers can stay from two to seven weeks and experience tours throughout the country, take part in community service programs, plus enjoy a speakers’ component to help develop an appreciation and knowledge of the country, its people, history and the work of JNF.
