Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival has been the biggest and best holiday art and craft show in the San Diego area for more than four decades. Families from all over the region come to enjoy American handmade crafts, great food, and fun entertainment.
 
More than 300 artists and craftspeople, including many new to the show, offer unique handmade crafts and gifts. Find Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas décor, handmade wearable art, photography, ceramics, jewelry, garden decorations, hand-turned wood, children’s toys, unique holiday gifts, and much more. All products in the show are made in America and chosen by a jury.

Monster Bash

The 16th Annual Dos Equis Monster Bash presented by Sailor Jerry, San Diego’s most EPIC Halloween festival, will transform the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village into a paradise for haunted souls and fabulous freaks on Saturday, October 29th from 6:00 PM to Midnight. Spanning eight city blocks, this massive takeover boasts FIVE hauntingly crafted themed stages that have become the hallmark of this unforgettable event, hosting over 20 DJ’s and entertainment acts over the course of the night. Featuring DJ sets and live performances by trap, edm, hip hop, house, and progressive artists, San Diego Monster Bash has something for everyone! Flocking from across the globe and every US State, over 15,000 costumed revelers join together to dance unabashed into the night at this Halloween mecca of terror and sinful delight.

Natural Views Exhibit Opening

The Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation (MTRP) is pleased to present Natural Views, an exhibition featuring artwork from students in the Grossmont Union High School District.

This exhibit will be on display in the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center Art Gallery December 3, 2016 – January 6, 2017. The public is cordially invited to a reception in honor of the artists on Saturday, December 10, 2016, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

25-Mile Community Bike Ride

Join Hazon for a 25-mile community bike ride on Sunday January 15. Meet by the Trader Joe’s at Pacific Highlands Ranch Village shopping center in Carmel Valley for an intermediate-level ride that will go through Camino Del Sur and Fairbanks Ranch area. Cyclists will meet at 8:30 am and leave at 9:00. Email amy.scher@hazon.org with questions and to RSVP.

Hazon San Diego Bike Ride

The first Hazon Ride in San Diego will launch from Coastal Roots Farm in Encinitas. This day-long, fully-supported ride will take riders through the coastal beaches and inland paved trails, culminating in a group lunch and celebration at the farm, including an interactive marketplace of local, sustainable vendors.

Celebrate Shakespeare’s 453rd Birthday at the Old Globe

The Bard’s birthday—his 453rd!—is a fitting and festive reason to recognize his countless contributions to arts and culture around the world. This exciting day of family activities is free and open to the public as part of the Globe’s ongoing commitment to programs that serve all of San Diego County.
