The 11th annual Miracle Babies Superhero 5K will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at NTC Park at Liberty Station (2455 Cushing Road), with registration beginning at 7:00 a.m. This joyful event includes a timed 5K run at 8:00 a.m., followed by a family-friendly 5K walk at 9:00 a.m., perfect for all levels. Attendees are encouraged to show their spirit by dressing up as their favorite superhero!
More than 60 volunteers will don their aprons at the patriotically-decorated Father Joe’s Villages to serve a festive summer meal to more than 500 people experiencing homelessness, including residents at the nonprofit and people visiting its public lunch line.

St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC) will present Acuity, a retrospective of paintings by Alfredo Santiago and stand-up-cutouts of David Walton, at Sophie’s Kensington Gallery. The show will run from October 5-26, 2019, with a public reception on October 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
